Selfily is a reflection of our diverse community of healthcare professionals, patients, and individuals seeking health-related information and support. We've developed the following Community Guidelines to ensure a safe, informative, and respectful environment for everyone. By using Selfily, you agree to adhere to these guidelines and our Terms of Use. We are committed to upholding these principles and expect the same from our users. Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or other appropriate measures.
Authenticity and Ownership of Content:
Share only photos, videos, and information that you have created or have the necessary rights to share. Respect intellectual property rights and avoid posting content that you have copied or collected from the internet without proper authorization.
Appropriate Content:
Post photos, videos, and information that are suitable for a diverse audience within the healthcare community. While we recognize the value of artistic or creative nude images in certain healthcare contexts, we do not allow explicit nudity or sexually explicit content. Exceptions may be made for health-related situations, medical education, and awareness purposes.
Respectful Interactions:
Foster meaningful and genuine interactions with other community members. Do not engage in spamming, artificially collecting likes or followers, posting repetitive comments or content, or repeatedly contacting others for commercial purposes without their consent. Do not offer or solicit engagement (likes, followers, comments) in exchange for monetary incentives. Impersonation of others or creating accounts with the intent to mislead or violate our guidelines is strictly prohibited.
Compliance with Applicable Laws:
Adhere to local, national, and international laws and regulations. Selfily does not tolerate the promotion or support of terrorism, organized crime, hate groups, or illegal activities. Avoid offering or seeking sexual services, buying or selling non-medical drugs, firearms, alcohol, tobacco products, or endangered species. Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the sale or purchase of regulated goods and seek permission for content related to online gambling or lotteries.
Respect for Privacy and Personal Information:
Respect the privacy of others and avoid sharing personal information that could be used to harm, harass, or exploit individuals. Sensitivity to Self-Injury and Mental Health:
Maintain a supportive environment by refraining from glorifying or encouraging self-injury or mental health issues. Selfily acknowledges the importance of raising awareness and providing support for individuals facing such challenges. Report any content that encourages self-injury or targets victims or survivors for attack or humor.
Responsible Sharing of Newsworthy Events:
Recognize that Selfily is often used to share important and newsworthy healthcare events. Exercise thoughtfulness and provide appropriate warnings when sharing content that includes intense, graphic violence to ensure the platform remains suitable for users of all ages. Avoid sharing graphic images for sadistic pleasure or to glorify violence.
Help us maintain a strong and supportive community by reporting any content that violates these guidelines using our built-in reporting option.
